Making the announcement yesterday, Precision Air chairman Michael Shirima, thanked Mr Kioko for his tenure at the carrier adding that his 10 years at the airline had seen "incredible growth" with an increase in fleet size, network reach and overall profitability being amongst his highest achievements.
According to Precision Air's bio, Ms Rajab (49) is a "seasoned" airline executive with a total of 23 years experience in airline mamangement, mostly with Kenya Airways (KQ), which she joined as a trainee in 1989.
After her training she was posted to the Reservations Department where she rose through the ranks in various roles including:
*Country Manager – Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi,
* General Manager Kenya,
*Area Manager East Africa,
*Regional General Manager Europe, Americas and Asia
*She is currently Kenya Airways’ General Manager of Cargo Operations.
A graduate from the University of Nairobi, she is currently pursuing an MBA at Strathmore University.
Her tenure will commence 1 March 2013.
