Lupita Nyongo and Empire’s ‘Cookie’ Full of Praise for Each Other

Lupita Nyong’o and Taraji Penda Henson, the star of Fox’s hit drama ‘Empire’ were full of praise for each other on social media last week.

Taraji, who plays Cookie in the series which premiered in January this year, has a huge adoring fanbase especially here in Kenya. Kenyans will be delighted to know that Taraji rates our very own Lupita. Like they say, ‘real recognizes real.’

She took to Instagram to gush about the ’12 Years A Slave’ star. Sharing photos of Lupita she posted, “That #ANYwayYouSliceIt kinda beauty. I LOVE YOUR SPIRIT @lupitanyongo your inner beauty SHINES!!!! #InnerBeauty only enhances the outer! #YouROCK pretty lady!!!!!”

Lupita caught wind of the humbling praise and responded in kind. She posted,
