The Pope who arrived at 4.30pm on Wednesday was received by Uhuru and his Deputy and other senior Catholic Priests including Cardinal John Njue.
On his way to State House, Nairobi, the Pope who known to send a powerful message of humility and equality was waving to enthusiastic crowds who had lined up from JKIA to State House to have a glimpse of the “Pope of the poor” .
"The Honda car that the pope is using, even an MP of the poorest slum in Kenya would not use it," James Mbugua said.
“If there is a lesson to learn from him is humility. He's so humble unlike our politicians," another Kenyan (Charles Kungu) said.
Thousands of Kenyans attended the Papal Mass at the University of Nairobi grounds on Thursday which was televised by over 50 TV stations around the World.
