See What ALSHABAAB Is Planning To Do When Pope FRANCIS Sets Foot In Nairobi But.......

The Kenyan and Ugandan Governments have stepped up security after details emerged that Somali based militant group, Al Shabaab, are planning to bomb Nairobi and Kampala when Pope Francis jets in for a three day religious visit.

According to Uganda’s police spokesman, Fred Enanga, Al Shababab, which has been weakened by the presence of Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) and Ugandan troops in Somalia, is planning to hit soft targets in Nairobi and Kampala to revenge in retaliation to the presence of troops of both countries in Somalia.

The details come two days after ISIS terrorists killed 129 people and injured thousands in Paris, France. ISIS, which operates in Syria and Iraq, officially asked Al Shabaab mid this year to be their affiliate group in EA but they have not declared their allegiance safe for a small sect within them.

Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police, David Boinett, has called on Kenyans to exercise vigilance saying Kenya remains one of the targets for Islamist jihadist groups.

Addressing journalists on Sunday, Boinett called on the public to work closely with security agents in their efforts to secure the country.

He asked the public to report any suspicious activity and people to security agencies immediately for action.

Pope Francis is expected to land in Nairobi on November 25.
