Ndege ya Precision Air Yanusurika Kuwaka Moto Uwanja wa Ndege Zanzibar

Ndege ya Precision Air ikitokea Kilimanjaro kuelekea Dar es salam kupitia Zanzibar usiku wa Alhamisi ili pata hitilafu ya injini yake moja kushika moto wakati ikitaka kuruka Uwanja wa Kimataifa wa Karume wa Zanzibar na kupelekea abiria  kushuka haraka na kurejea sehemu ya mapokezi. Hakuna madhara ambayo yameripotiwa na abiria wote walishuka salama,

Kwa mujibu wa shuhuda wa tukio hilo, mojawapo ya injini ilishika moto  na kulazimisha marubani  kusimamisha ndege na kuirudisha sehemu ya kupakia abiria, baada ya kuchukua hatua za dharura za kuuzima moto huo kabla ya kuleta madhara.

 INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
This is an official statement from Precision Air Services PLC with regards to the fire incident that
took place in Zanzibar’s Karume
 International Airport on the 16 th
 of June 2016. Precision Air Services operating its equipment with registration number 5HPWB between Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam registered a fire alarm, on noticing the alarm the pilot immediately initiated standard operating procedures to extinguish the fire and taxied the aircraft back to the apron. This aircraft had operated Dar es Salaam

 Kilimanjaro as PW432 and Kilimanjaro

 Zanzibar as PW2433 with no incidences. No one was harmed during this incidence; all 34 passengers and 4 crew members were safely evacuated and given accommodation for the night. We wish to inform all our passengers and the general public that due to our strict adherence to safety, immediate measures were taken to send another engine from Dar es Salaam. We have also sent a rescue flight to take TCAA officials together with our engineers to conduct required standard investigations for such an event. The same equipment will also airlift the passengers back to Dar es Salaam to continue on their journeys. Precision Air is an IOSA certified airline therefore the safety of our passengers, crew and aircraft is always a priority. We hereby sincerely apologize to all our passengers for any inconveniences caused and would like to assure them that all our other operations will continue as scheduled. We will notify them of any changes or updates.
