Shock as Kenyan AL SHABAAB Trainee Escapes The Terror Camp and Surrenders to the Police in Nakuru Unarmed


Wednesday January 24, 2019 - A 23-year-old man claiming to be a member of Al Shabaab terror group has surrendered himself to the police.

The man surrendered at Nakuru Central Police Station claiming to have been a member of the Somalia-based terror group and fears for his life.

This was confirmed by County police boss, Samuel Obara, who said the man surrendered to the station on Sunday.

“He turned up at the station unarmed,” Obara said.

According to Obara, the terror suspect was questioned immediately at the office of the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Nakuru.

“He told police he joined the terror group in September 2018 and had been trained for five months,” Obara said.

The man is said to have escaped from an Al Shabaab training camp at Bombolulu, Mombasa, and said he fears for his life.
