Some people (actually most people) believe Zari Hassan is rich courtesy of dating wealthy men – late Ivan Ssemwanga and Diamond Platnumz.
On Monday February 4th, Zari took to social media to lecture her fans about hard work. She saluted all women were trying to make it in male dominated world.
“While you are looking for rich husbands, i wana be the rich wife. #MondayMotivation to all my hustler ladies out there tryna make it in a male dominated world. We can do it 💪,” wrote Zari Hassan.
Critics were quick to dismiss Zari, they claimed she was playing the ‘hardworking woman’ yet everybody knows her lifestyle is being financed by her late husband’s wealth.
“But after all said and done Don (R.i.p) is still the sponsor of your wealth. But I like the way you have kept up his legacy. #RESPECT,” a certain Jeddy Marto commented on Zari’s post.
“@jeedymarto that’s where y’all get confused. He never made me, we made each other, we equally played the roles because we had big goals, big dreams. Y’all know Ivan after the boys have been born and grown, look back at my throwbacks and you’ll see what I mean,” Zari replied.
Another critic also stressed that Zari was rich courtesy of being Ivan’s wife:
“But Zarina..aren’t you the same one that will show this little girls on the gram “how he treats you right materially” .. ?that;s why most will think Don(r.i.p) made you..” Barton Joey commented.
To which Zari replied;
“@_barton_joey you only know Don from social media about 5 years back or so. U dont know where we came from. Maybe a look at my tbts will help you gain insight. Only then will you see ur opinion has no value.
Well, Zari could be try hard to explain she is not a gold-digger, but the fact that she inherited Ivan’s Brooklyn City College and his houses in South Africa, plus the house Diamond bought her, make many people believe she only gets in relationships with rich men purely to obtain money.
