ORODHA ya Vilabu Bora Afrika 2025 (CAF Club Ranking)
CAF Club Rankings 2025 | The 5-year CAF rankings system is used by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to determine the number of clubs each member association can enter in its football competitions; the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup.
Currently, the top 12 associations can enter two teams in each of the two club competitions, while the remaining associations have one team in each competition/CAF Club Rankings 2025.
CAF approved its basic criteria based on the criteria used in the selection of the CAF Clubs of the 20th Century in 2000 with the awarding of points in 2003. This was changed in 2005 with the addition of a criterion to reward clubs that reach the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup.
This method has also been used to produce an all-time ranking for CAF clubs, adding up the points that would have been awarded to each club based on their results since 1965/CAF Club Rankings 2025.For the ranking system, only results since 1998 have been taken into account, with the CAF Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup being removed from the system since 2011.
